Category & Catalog Analyst

Required skills:
  • Excellent communication skills and key team player
  • Detail oriented and avid product quality promoter
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Basic knowledge about UX and SEO
  • Minimum 1 year working in content team, or building internal categories and catalog
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and/or other measurement tools such as Qliksense, Tableau, Mixpane
Key responsibilities:
  • Optimizing the category tree structure to improve findability and chooseability on all Marketplaces in the region.
  • Implementing designed structures through the internal content management system.
  • Improving the Catalog by carrying out thorough research about all products.
  • Analyzing user's needs when posting, searching or browsing the site
  • Building and analyzing reports with Google Analytics to ensure an enhaced user experience.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Sales teams to carry out a strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Working closely with Product team to add improvements to the user experience
  • Understand demand based taxonomies and collaborate with SEO team on incorporating on-page strategy.
  • Be a part of the taxonomy development and maintenance process, work close with UX to understand mental models.
  • Allow our users to discover products in an instinctive manner, achieving improved search results based on kw search, categorization techniques and site menus.
  • Get know about business purpose, the audience to attract and the kinds of content to categorize
Nice to Have:
  • SQL knowledge        
  • Experience working on Agile Methodologies
  • Google Partners Certified        
  • Speaks Portuguese (and / or willingness to study it)
  • Knowledge about the Agricultural sector.
  • Experience using ecommerce platforms (eg: Magento, Woocommerce)
  • Knowledge on PIM Systems
